21 Things About Me

I know everyone says it, but I am FINALLY 21! I feel like I have definitely waited the longest for this birthday, but it comes along with being the baby of all my friends.

To celebrate my birthday, which was Sunday, I thought I would share ’21 Things About Me’

The List

1. I’m a type 9 on the enneagram. A very solid 9…we can get into this in another blog post
2. I am the 2nd in line of 4 siblings
3. I’m 5’5
4. The only sport I’ve ever played (and enjoyed) is tennis
5. I never forget a face
6. I prefer tea over coffee
7. I rarely get bored
8. I am naive
9. My favorite number is 5
10. I could eat sushi for the rest of my life
11. I get frustrated with technology very easily
12. The song “Everything” by Michael Bublé has been my favorite song since I was 10.
13. I love thrift shopping
14. I don’t get annoyed easily
15. I prefer movies to T.V. shows
16. Confrontation scares me…seriously
17. I had a blog for 3 years in high school called Sweet Potato Pi. (Link here for some serious throwbacks — cringe)
18. I have not, and will never, download TikTok ** edit from 22 year old Louise — I lied. I’m on TikTok

Birthday Festivities

On Sunday, my birthday, I woke up and had a slice of my favorite strawberry cake for breakfast and opened some gifts, one being these fabulous shoes that Grant gave me!

We all went to church and then out to lunch. I called some friends and even had a friend stop by because she was in town.

All day, I was overwhelmed with sweet posts and texts from friends and family. I really felt the love!

Come 5 o’clock we had cocktail hour complete with French 75’s and then sushi for dinner (from my favorite place, Sakura Bana. If you know, you KNOW.) And, of course, strawberry cake for dessert!

Last night, Monday, Grant and I went on a date and had some yummy cocktails, which, they didn’t even ask to see my ID, but oh well. I guess my gray hairs are already coming in!

I hope this list gave you a little more insight into who I am and what brings me joy! 20 was such a great year and I have so much more to look forward to this coming year and I can’t wait to share it all with you!
