Hi y’all! I always get questions about how I “wear my closet” — basically how I create NEW outfits from what I already have!

I have a post on my fave closet staples here and some more tips on how to wear your closet here!

Tip #1 – A White Button Down

Nothing says “effortlessly chic” like a classic white button down!

I love layering a button down with sweaters, sweater vests, or even wearing alone with jeans or jean shorts.

There is just something about a crisp white collar that always makes an outfit look more put together and more ~luxurious~ IMO!

It is my #1 closet staple item and is truly something you can wear year-round.

Tip #2 – Sunglasses

Adding a pair of sunnies to an outfit is such and easy and inexpensive way to pull an outfit together and make it more chic!

Tip #3 – Silk Scarves

There are so many ways to wear a silk scarf and I love the way they add that perfect finishing touch to any outfit.

I love to wear my scarves in my hair, around my neck, as a belt, or tie it around my purse.

These are typically pretty easy to find at thrift/consignment stores! Love a good vintage find 🙂

Tip #4 – A Brooch / Pin

This is another super easy way to make an outfit look more ~chic~

I love adding a brooch to a blazer, denim jacket, sweater, dress, or even in my hair!

They can sometimes be added easily to belts or put on chains to wear as a necklace.

This is another great item that can easily be found at thrift/consignment stores!
