5 Bloggers to Follow in 2020

I started following bloggers when I was in high school and had my first blog (link to my first blog in this post). Though my blog at the time did not last very long, I still continued following many of the bloggers on my personal account.

At this point, I feel like these people who I have never met, are my friends. I feel like we have been through things together and they were always there providing me with inspiring and interesting content.

Even Grant started following some of my “blogger friends”, as I call them, so he would know who I was talking about all the time in day-to-day conversation.

Here are 5 of my favorite bloggers that you should be following:

1. Kate from LonestarSouthern.com

Kate is the older sister I never had. She used to be a Dallas-based blogger and now lives in Florida with her husband. Her style is classic southern with occasional trends mixed in, but overall it is tasteful and modest. Kate is real, vulnerable, funny, and charming. She loves the Lord and is everything I want to be when I grow up.

I follow her for her affordable and adorable fashion sense and honestly just to be a part of her life… even though we have never met… lol!

2. Kristy Wicks from KristyWicks.com

I actually have only been following Kristy for about 2 years now, but she lives the life that every empty nester dreams of. She completely renovated her home several years ago and is always finding the new “perfect touch” for her cozy abode. Not to mention her adorable husband, Jeff, who is always seen in the kitchen whipping up delicious new recipes for them to try… The. Dream.

I follow Kristy for her never wavering positive and upbeat spirit. She always has something to be grateful for. Her stories are so fun to watch and she always has the latest deals and steals from home decor to fashion to Jeff’s yummy recipes.

3. Caitlin from SouthernCurlsandPearls.com

Caitlin is my trendy friend. She keeps me in the know with the latest and greatest happening in fashion, and sometimes in the kitchen with healthy home cooked meals. Caitlin is a sweetie. Her tone is so gentle and kind and it really is just relaxing listening to her talk about her newest Amazon find.

I follow Caitlin for her beautiful, perfectly curated pictures and her thick, beautiful hair (seriously, it always looks like that). She, too, has a strong relationship with the Lord and I feel like I can relate to her.

4. Caroline from LCBstyle.com

Caroline is like a precious gazelle. I feel like I have really been with her through thick and thin. She is such a model (physically & spiritually) with her classic and distinct style. Caroline has such grace and poise, and always comes off as very put together which I appreciate — whereas some bloggers share too much and get off on a tangent about something irrelevant. Caroline is very intentional and intelligent with her content and I love that about her.

5. Amber from BarefootBlonde.com

Amber is the cool mom. I started following Amber right after she had Rosie, her second child and now she has 3 sweet babies! She is the definition of laid back and fun and has such a healthy relationship with her young kids.

I follow her for her lifestyle, beauty, and hair tips. She has gorgeous long locks (partial credit to her companies DAE hair and Barefoot Blonde hair extensions), but nonetheless she lives a colorful life in a beautiful home in Arizona and I love getting a glimpse into her life.

I hope that you give these blogs a try and feel as inspired by these women as I do!
