Star Spangled Bachelorette Weekend Recap

Last weekend was my bachelorette party and I am so excited to show you some pictures and talk about the details because I want to relive it again and again!

Friday

Friday evening, the girls arrived at my uncle’s house that he graciously let us use for the weekend (even in the middle of home renovations!).

We had the fridge stocked and ready!

After the girls arrived and got settled in their rooms, we had cocktails and sushi for dinner.

Bachelorette Party

After dinner and drinks, we played some games. One of which included a prerecording of Grant answering questions about me: like my favorite movie, ideal date, etc. which was hilarious because he just about got all of them perfectly correct!

Afterwards, we had a little lingerie shower where I guessed which gift was from which friend — also very hilarious!

One of my friends made the adorable pom pom veil and my dress is linked here

Saturday

We started off Saturday morning with some relaxing yoga on the porch. We were so thankful to see it was looking like a sunny day because the weather had previously said thunderstorms all weekend. Which would not have been ideal!

Yoga was followed by a delicious mimosa brunch!

After brunch, we changed into our swimsuits and sarongs and had a quick 21st birthday sign reveal, and then headed to the pool.

This sign is just spot. on. I love it!
We gave the girls these sarongs in different prints!

As I mentioned before, the weather was predicted to thunderstorm all weekend. Thankfully, we had an hour, or so, in the sun before the clouds started to roll in. When it did start to rain, we went inside and enjoyed champagne pops and played some games like Inchohearant and New Phone, Who Dis? — great to play with big groups and had us all laughing!

That evening we had a backyard barbecue dinner consisting of ribs, watermelon, salad, beans and we even finished it off with an apple pie for dessert.

Once the sun went down, my dad and brothers came over and put on a little fireworks show in the backyard. During the show, we also had glow sticks, little sparklers and Roman candles to have fun with throughout the night — the perfect ending to our 4th of July!

Sunday

Sunday was departure day. It was bitter sweet saying goodbye to such a special weekend and to my sweet friends who I hadn’t seen in months. But it only means we are one step closer to the big day!

Thank you to my amazing mom for the abundance of delicious food and to my maid of honor who took care of everyone and helped things run smoothly. Thank you to my aunts who helped the weekend come to life and to my uncle who let us use his beautiful house for the weekend!

Thanks for reading!
