Happy New Year’s Eve!
It’s hard to believe that 2020 is pretty much over and 2021 is here.
There is SO much to look back on this past year.
2020 has, no doubt, been a very difficult year. But, it has also been one that has taught us a lot.
Here is my last Good & Grateful List for 2020:
1. Graduating College
Coming back from spring break my senior year of college to be abruptly moved out of my sorority house and never return, wasn’t exactly what I had in mind for the end of my college career.
Nevertheless, I know there are people out there that had it much worse, and I am simply grateful to be finished! I loved college, but I was even more ready for the next chapter in my life.
For those curious, I was a Chi Omega and majored in Hospitality Management at Ole Miss. I absolutely loved my sorority and my major!
2. Turning 21
As silly as this might sound, I truly waited the longest for this birthday– so long it was comical! (I did a birthday post here) I am the baby and turned 21 on June 28th after I graduated college.
Again, although it was not the 21st birthday I had in mind, there will plenty of other times to celebrate with my friends at a later date. I joked that my wedding was also my 21st birthday party!
3. Starting my blog & podcast
2020 is also the year I started this blog and my podcast! 2 very exciting things that I love and enjoy and hope to grow significantly in 2021
4. Getting married
Everyday, I become more and more grateful for my husband, Grant. We got married in the midst of COVID-19 on July 31st and are coming up on 6 months of marriage.
I am so grateful for all of the time we have spent together, yet we still never run out of things to talk about.
If you want a glimpse of what we talk about, check out our casual & fun podcast, Young Bodies Old Minds!
5. A Fresh Start
I am so grateful for a fresh start in the coming year. I love setting goals and achieving them — I made a post dedicated to my New Year’s resolutions to keep me accountable!
After the year we’ve had, I feel like things can only go up from here and I am looking forward to it!
What are you grateful for?
