Good & Grateful List

Hi y’all! I’m so excited to be bringing you another Good & Grateful List today!

For those those who don’t know, I have this little series called “Good & Grateful” where every month or so, I list a few things I’m grateful for! The purpose of this series is to encourage you to find joy in the little things and not to forget all you have to be grateful for.

1. Grant passed the first section of the CPA!

In my last Good & Grateful List, I talked about how we were going to Jackson, MS (my home) for Grant to take his first section of the CPA exam (it’s 4 sections total).

He really thought he failed it. Which, wouldn’t have been the end of the world to retake it…

However, we were OVERJOYED to find out that he passed it!! So so proud of him!!

2. Snow week!

I few weeks ago now, we had our crazy & unexpected snow WEEK!

We thought it was only going to last a day and then be melted by the next morning… boy, were we wrong….

Though many people were negatively affected by the snow, we were very grateful to have power, water, and food for the week.

It really was a miraculous thing to see because I have never woken up more than 2 days in a row to SNOW!

3. Our Kitchen

This might seem silly– but it’s all about the little things in life, right?!

I remember being in college and very rarely having a vegetable or a home-cooked meal. My body would craveeee something healthy and most years of my college career, I did not have access to a kitchen.

Not to mention, eating out or eating at my sorority house would be so much easier than getting groceries to cook…

I have loved trying new recipes and incorporating more veggies into our diets because they are SO GOOD! & make you feel good too.

Very grateful for our sweet little kitchen 🙂

4. Warmer Days Ahead

Though I am very grateful for our snow day, I am also grateful for knowing that there are warmer days ahead!

When I went home to Jackson a couple weeks ago, it was 85 degrees and felt amazing!

I am in desperate need for some vitamin D! Anyone else??

What are you grateful for this month?

Thanks for reading!
