Hi y’all! Bringing you another Good & Grateful List today! (All of my previous lists are under my lifestyle tab!)
In a life that is filled with many uncertainties and busy schedules, this little series was created with the intention of taking a moment and listing some things that I’m grateful for. & I hope it reminds you of all the things in your life you have to be grateful for too!
1. Grant is almost finished with grad school!
My sweet sweet husband is sooo very close to the finish line of grad school and taking the CPA. I truly don’t know how he does it all but it’s been a long time coming. I know he is even more excited than I am.
Anyone who has been following along from the beginning knows that we have been counting down the days since day 1 and now we are almost to the end!
We are both SO grateful that he is almost finished with school forever!!!
2. Springtime
This is a big one for me.
I don’t think I’ve ever experienced seasonal depression and I didn’t even realize it at the time. The dark, cold, shorter days were really affecting me.
The sunshine, warm weather and longer days have made me SO happy!!
Like, drastic mood boost!! I’ve been going on so many walks and getting some vitamin D and it’s been a game changer.
If you haven’t, get out and go on a walk– it’s good for the soul.
3. Seasons of change
To go along with the ~seasonal~ talk, I always try to soak up every little moment when the seasons change.
It makes me so sentimental!! Anyone else?!
As y’all know, Grant and I will be moving soon (full blog post about our move coming soon!) and my parents are in the midst of selling my childhood home– where we lived for 19 years and where I got married :’).
AND my younger sister (the baby) is about to start her freshman year of college. Everyone is growing up too. fast.
I wish I could bottle everything up and hold tight to it all.
I’m grateful for sweet seasons of change where we can take a moment and reflect on all that has brought us to where we are now.
4. A bright future ahead
Since we graduated from Ole Miss and then stayed in Oxford for Grant’s grad school, we feel like the lame 5th year married couple lol!
It has felt like we are still in school even though I go to work almost everyday and we are living a different kind of life.
There is only so much to do in Oxford and so many places to eat before you get tired of it! (though I’m sure we will miss it once we are gone & we will definitely be coming back to visit!)
We can’t wait to move to Boston and be the young people again!
Grant and I both have some very exciting things planned that will hopefully be in action in the very near future — we can’t wait to share them with you all!
What are you grateful for today?
Thanks for reading!
