Hi y’all! It has been too long since I’ve shared a Good & Grateful List!
Life can feel so overwhelming at times which is why I like to take a second and write about some things that are good and that I’m grateful for.
Lately, I’ve shared how I struggle with the comparison game and a lot of you have reached out and said you feel the same way! I’ve been trying to take time to be appreciative of everything I have and everyone in my life. I enjoy sharing these things as a way to encourage and possibly relate to you as well 🙂
Good & Grateful List:
1. My Family
Earlier this month, my family lost a family member. Though we are extremely saddened by our loss, we are at peace knowing that they are in a much better place — fully healed and in much better care. I am so thankful to know that we will all be reunited in heaven someday!
We will be in Mississippi later this month to celebrate a life well-lived and I am looking forward to being reunited with family 🙂
Our time on this earth is fleeting, so be sure to tell your friends and family you love them, often.
2. Our Apartment
If you’ve watched my latest vlogs, you know I’ve expressed how it’s so easy to compare myself to others. Even though I only know 2 people my age who have houses, I still long for a house and to feel “settled.” However, I know that God’s timing is perfect and His plan is always better than my plan.
Realistically, we will be in our apartment for at least another year and I am SO grateful for that! We really do love our apartment and where we are and ultimately, I’m grateful to have a roof over our heads.
Remi loves our apartment too 🙂
3. Remi
Remi is almost 1 year old the the time is flying by too fast!
Though it has been very hard and challenging at times, Remi has added so much joy to our lives and I love her more than I could have ever dreamed! She is such a happy dog and we can’t imagine life without her.
Every morning, I start working in our office around 9 am. By 10 am, she always comes up and tries to wiggle her way in to my lap which never works… so, I end up coming downstairs to work on the couch and she snuggles up just like this! It melts my heart every time.
Lastly, of course, I’ve very grateful for a job where I am able to share glimpse in to my life with you all. This community is so sweet and uplifting and I can’t thank you enough for being here and supporting me through my blog.
Thank you for reading!
