Hi y’all! Since it’s the season of giving thanks and reflecting on everything we have to be grateful for, I thought it was time to share another Good & Grateful List.
This is a series I like to do periodically where I take a second to share some things that I’m especially grateful for — big and small!
Especially with blogging as my full-time job, things can seem very materialistic at times and I just want y’all to know that, although I love my job and sharing clothes, outfits, and fashion finds… The things of this world are never going to truly make us happy and satisfy our longing for more.
As a Christian, I know that the only thing that can satisfy my heart is Christ.
Investing in relationships with friends and family and not constantly living for ourselves also plays a part in making your heart a lot stronger as opposed to buying that “splurge” item you’ve been wanting for forever. Because by next year, you might not even want it anymore and you’ll be looking for the next big thing.
Anyway, all of that to say, here are a few things I’m extra grateful for these days:
1. Our Sweet Little Remi
There is no doubt that getting a puppy comes with its challenges. However, everything has been exactly what we were expecting / prepared for and Remi has been an amazing puppy.
If you’re interested in GSP’s I would highly recommend watching Standing Stone Kennels on YT! We felt so prepared after watching their videos.
Remi is truly the most loving and curious puppy and we couldn’t love her more. She has grown SO much — not only physically, but also mentally and is doing really well with her potty training and obedience training.
I am so grateful for Remi and the happiness she’s brought to our home. She makes us smile everyday 🙂
2. Living in Dallas
I know this might seem broad but it’s true! I tell Grant all the time, “I just love it here. I can’t believe we live here.”
This time last year we were packing up to travel cross-country from Boston to Dallas to start a new chapter.
It has been such a great year and we are looking forward to another year here. Who knows where we’ll move after Dallas but I sure am grateful for this sweet season of life right now. 🙂
I could go on and on about so many more things I’m grateful for like friends, family, food, health, and I am extremely grateful for all of those things but I like to keep my posts short and sweet.
What are you grateful for? Let me know in the comments 🙂
Thanks for reading!
