Hi y’all! Today we are talking about how to create the perfect “grown up” bedroom.
I know a lot of you have recently graduated, or are about to graduate college and move into your own place. Some of you may be about to be married and need to create a new bedroom for you and your husband. Or, some of you might just be sick of your room and looking for a refresh!
Hopefully, these bedroom ideas give you some inspo to start decorating!
Putting together these “grown up” bedroom inspiration boards was so much fun!
Mixing colors, patterns, and textures together is one of my favorite things.
Even if putting colors and patterns together isn’t your cup of tea, when it comes to creating a bedroom, you have the freedom to make it as loud or as quiet as you like.
Sticking to a theme is something I like to think I’m good at… But sometimes it can be hard! Before decorating any space, I’ll make a mood board (like these!) And I’ll try out the loads of different options before I decided on one I love.
Also, one of my favorite places to find unique pieces for our home is Etsy. Almost all of the pillows in our house are from Etsy shops!
Lastly, as you know, my southern roots always give me the urge to put a little monogram somewhere– and sellers on Etsy can usually do that for you, if you don’t have a local place to do it!
