As much as I love getting dressed up, I love getting dressed down in some cozy loungewear.
Especially since quarantine hit and there is no particular reason to put on real clothes each day, loungewear has been my go-to. My favorite kind? Cute loungewear that you could potentially wear out if the opportunity presented itself.
My favorite loungewear set is from Gap and it has sold out, but they have tons of other cute, affordable options. As well as Old Navy, Aerie, and Target.
In other news, today is my wedding day! As I am sitting in my bed, writing this a week in advance, it is crazy to think that it will be here so soon. It has felt like an eternity long engagement with everything going on in the world.
I am most looking forward to seeing my friends who I haven’t really seen since our senior year got cut short. It seems like forever ago and just yesterday that we were all living together in the Chi O house and helping each other get ready for date parties and formals.
I feel like my wedding is the spring formal we never had and I can’t wait to celebrate our marriage with the friends and family who are able to attend. Because many cannot attend due to COVID, we are hoping that once everyone feels comfortable again, we could have an anniversary party of some kind. But we are not giving that a date because who knows when all the craziness will cease.
I will be taking this next week off from blogging to enjoy a tech-free honeymoon with my soon-to-be husband. It will be a well deserved break from everything going on in the world and we can’t wait!
