Hi y’all! Today I’m sharing a round up of some of my favorite denim shorts for spring & summer!
Denim shorts can be one of the hardest things to shop for IMO. I’ve tried so many styles in search for ones that are cute, full-coverage, comfortable, and affordable.
Y’all know I’m a big Abercrombie fan and I should have known they would carry one of my favorite pairs — the Curve Love High Rise 90’s Cutoff Short!
Here are my top picks:
This first pair, the Parker Vintage Loose Fit Cutoff Short though it is still one of my favorite pairs, they don’t fit nearly as well as the Abercrombie ones. I love this pair when I need a loose, baggy pair to take to the beach or to the lake!
This second pair, the Curve Love High Rise Dad Short is another favorite that fit really well! I think if you’re taller, or looking for a longer short option, this one is the way to go!
Lastly, my personal favorite, the Curve Love High Rise 90s Cutoff Short!
Now, here’s the deal with the curve love sizing — it tends to run big and have more stretch in the hips than the regular styles. Also, being denim, it’s naturally going to stretch with wear. The curve love is a game changer for me because I find that in regular denim styles, I have a large gap in the waist area. With the curve love, I no longer have that gap and the shorts actually *fit* !
I included my sizes on the pictures above but I wear a 25 in the Abercrombie *curve love* and a 27 in almost every other pair of denim I own!
If you’ve never had an issue with a waist gap — I’d suggest trying the regular High Rise 90s Cutoff Short!
