I am so excited to be back from our wedding weekend and honeymoon, and to sit down and get back into blogging and figuring out my new normal routine!
As much fun as our wedding weekend and honeymoon was, Grant and I (well, mostly me) are people who crave routine and consistency. As you can imagine, wedding planning and COVID-19 combined were far from that! The few days we have had in Oxford so far have been full of organizing and settling in to our new home and I can’t wait to share more of that with you soon! (I’m always posting updates and daily life things on my Instagram if you want to follow along here!)
Today I’ll be sharing all about my bridal luncheon! My aunts were so kind to put together every single detail (truly a blessing that it was one less thing for me to worry about) and were the sweetest hostesses for me and my bridesmaids and house party.
The luncheon took place at one of my aunt’s houses on Thursday, the same day as our rehearsal dinner.
From the Prosecco punch, to the beautiful flower arrangements, to the delicious lunch, to the pretty & pink frills (my favorite!) it could not have been more perfect.
Not to mention, this was the first time my girls would all be together to meet each other and it was so special for me to have some time with just them before the weekend’s festivities kicked into gear.
The dress I wore, I found at Dillard’s on sale last year with the intention to wear it to my bridal tea that was suppose to happen in March, but never did due to COVID. I was so glad to have another opportunity to wear it! This particular dress I couldn’t find online, but I linked some other very pretty “bridal luncheony” dresses here, here, and here.
With all things related to COVID-19 & wedding planning combined (having to change our plans 2 weeks out) this generous and personal get together was such a happy note to start the weekend with.
Thank you again to my amazing aunts for throwing together the most perfect luncheon! I hope one day I can be as thoughtful and intentional to my nieces as my aunts have been to me.
Thanks for reading!
