Our sweet photographer and friend, Ashley Schurch, sent us our first sneak peek of pictures last week and I am so excited to share them with you today!
The original plan was to have our ceremony at our church’s chapel and have our reception at my house.
2 weeks before the wedding we found out that we couldn’t have more than 20 people outside at our home…
We were only allowed 50 people in the chapel for the ceremony and moved the reception to a venue.
Overall, it ended up being even more perfect because all of my girls and I were able to get ready at my house (wouldn’t have been the case if the reception was at home) and we were able to have air conditioning at the venue. Which turned out to be a life saver!
It was such a beautiful day and we are so thankful to everyone who helped pull it off!
This is the home that I, and my siblings, grew up in. We have loved it to pieces and I told Ashley I wanted a lot of photographs of the house itself because it means so much to us! We can’t stop looking at our pictures and reliving this day over and over again in our heads. The smiles, funny moments, and COVID-19, made it a very special day to remember.
We can’t wait to have the rest of the photos in a couple months!
Working with Ashley and getting to know her was such a joy. She and her husband, Zach, make such a great team and helped our day go smoothly and efficiently. Cannot recommend them enough!
